Just downloaded a sample of this book, wow! Couldn’t put it down, shortest sample in history. I’m gonna have to buy it now, well soon-ish, maybe later today?
I often find myself tapping out an SMS on my phone and thinking…. “this would be so much easier if I could just type it!”. I might even have another look around at the SMS online options, remember that you pay for each SMS, and given I’ve already paid for SMS’s on my phone, I can’t justify paying more just for the luxury of typing on a full size keyboard.
Well this morning I sent off a couple of SMS’s using 3CX DroidDesktop. I’ve actually had this app on my phone for a while, but haven’t gotten into the habit of using it, well maybe that will change now, it’s just so easy!
As long as your phone is connected to the same network as you are using (i.e. connected via wifi), then you simply surf to the address of your phone, and up comes a full blown interface for you phone where you can do pretty much anything you can do directly on your phone.
So give it a try, it’s free! Word of warning though, your text’s may start getting longer – great for getting your message across, not so good when you’re not on your computer.
Lately I’ve been listening to music while at work. I used to use spotify, and even paid for their service for a while. I got over paying (I know – terrible, but hey, I’m all about honesty over political correctness), but their free option had a LOT of ads, then I found grooveshark.
Grooveshark say they play ads for free users, but I’ve yet to come across one! OK I lie, I did find them coming on a lot when using Chrome before my most recent rebuild of my PC, but since then it’s been fine. They have heaps of good music, and the quality is great. They also have plenty of extra features like playlists, radio, a social aspect where you can see what others are listening to – overall I’m rapt with it.
