2048 tile game

This #2048game is kinda addictive. I didn’t get how it worked to start with. I played the desktop version.

I found it tricky to work out initially, so thought I’d share my idea of how it works now that I’ve worked it out from not knowing at all, maybe it’ll make it easier for newcomers.

Turns out a new ‘2’ square turns up after every time you use the arrow keys. All the squares push to the side depending on the arrow key you use, like as if you turned the square with that side down and all the tiles fell down that way. Then any tiles with the same number combine to give a single tile with double that number.

So you keep moving like that until you create a tile with value 2048.
